His team, the Eastern Conference, scored an All-Star record 211 points over the Western Conference’s 186 points.

Young hit three key performances last night, starting with a nutmeg shot to score, then later a pass to Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo later for another two point score. At the conclusion of the third quarter, Young hit a three-point shot. Those were his point contributions to the team, where he had the lowest time spent on the court of any Eastern player.
Young was belatedly added to the All-Star team as an emergency substitute when a previously scheduled player took ill.
