Bally Sports South took the most trophies among sports-oriented nominations in this year’s Southeastern Emmy Awards held this past Saturday.
The regional sports network won five total Emmys for their content produced in 2023. Bally won for Live Single Sports Program (Braves Live 2023 Home Opening Night, credited to Kevin Allison, Steve Welsh, Rick Soltys, and Esther Summersill.), Sports Interview and Discussion (On Deck For History: A Conversation With Dusty Baker, Christina Atkins, Gretchen Kaney, Gregg Therieau, and Jeff Francoeur), and Live Sporting Event (Special Hall of Fame Booth, Jeff Francoeur, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and Chipper Jones.)
Also, Bally Sports’ Jill Gossard-Cook won for Live Sports Production, and Brian Oliver won the Emmy for Best Talent/Sports Analyst/Studio.
