- Records aren’t safe when there’s someone with the talent and drive on your team like the Falcons’ Bijan Robinson. Today, he passed the single-season 2,000 scrimmage yard mark. Only two other Falcons can make that claim: Jamal Anderson (1998) and William Andrews (1981, 1983).

Truly a blessing that God lets me do this for my teammates and this program! ❤️🔥♾️ https://t.co/41nqlwi1ZC

- The team’s in-house reporter, Tori McElhaney, who has done a remarkable job tracking Robinson’s career and record-breaking moves since he’s been on this team, writes that at 5,376 career scrimmage yards as of today, he ranks third in scrimmage yards by a 23-year-old or younger player in NFL history. She adds Robinson is one of six in the NFL who have reached 2,000 scrimmage yards this season: Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Christian McCaffrey, and Jonathan Taylor.
- Kyle Pitts is earning second looks from folks earlier this season wondering if he’d ever live up to his promise with the Dirty Birds. He caught his 5th touchdown of the season today. He notched 57 yards and that fifth TD today.
- Vet Jake Mathews came THISCLOSE to getting his first career touchdown today.
- The Falcons are piling up the sacks and James Pearce Jr. (8 sacks in the last 7 games) is one of the reasons why.
- Here’s how close the Falcons came to being first place in the NFC South…
The Falcons had a 24-19 lead on Carolina with less than two minutes to play in regulation on November 16.
Had they closed that out, they would currently be sitting in a three-way-tie for first place with a better divisional record than both Carolina and Tampa.

- Remember former Falcon Calais Campbell? He plays for the Cards now, and he blocked a Falcons extra point attempt, briefly stalling his former team’s drive to take the lead in the game.
- The Falcons have two more games ahead of them. If they beat the Rams and the Saints, their last remaining opponents, they will have an 8-9 record, their 8th losing regular season in a row.
