The Atlanta Falcons announced more roster moves today.
The newest Dirty Bird: Demone Harris, a defensive lineman who’s been in the NFL since 2018. He’s played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans. During that time between those three teams, Harris appeared in 14 games, started in one, got 11 tackles, 3 hits on quarterbacks, and broke up a pass.
Harris’ entry into the Falcons comes as the team cut an offensive lineman, LaCoby Tucker. Also, outside linebacker, Ade Ogundeji was placed on injured reserve due to a foot/ankle injury. Head Coach Arthur Smith said this morning at the Falcons’ Flowery Branch headquarters that the team is getting a second opinion on the severity of Ogundeji’s injuries.
