Falcons look ahead to key game against Buffalo Bills
Oct 07, 2025
As the Falcons transition from their bye week into a very important Monday night game against the 4-1 Buffalo Bills, the team took stock in their most recent win against the Washington Commanders and the momentum it brought them.
Falcons coach Raheem Morris spoke out ahead of Week 6 in the NFL.
- Morris said the team is “looking forward” to getting A.J. Terrell back in time for Monday’s game. He is expected to practice the entire week ahead of the game.
- Ta’Quon Graham’s 21-day return window will be opened from injury reserve. Morris says he’ll know more about WRs Darnell Mooney and KhaDarel Hodge’s conditions later this week.
- No news on injured players Storm Norton, Troy Andersen or Bralen Trice.
- Morris says the way the team played in Week 4 against the Commanders will be the template for the team going forward. “I think the most important thing for us is scoring touchdowns, stopping touchdowns and find a way to get the ball back for our guys and really maintain the possession.”
- Morris “loved” QB Michael Penix Jr.’s response to the Week 3 loss to the Panthers. “That is the telltale sign for quarterbacks, how you respond when things don’t go your way.”
- Morris says the Falcons have the rest of the week to figure out how to stop Bills QB Josh Allen.
- Falcons safety Xavier Watts won the NFL Rookie Defensive Player of the Month.
- On looking forward to Monday Night Football at Mercedes-Benz Stadium: “The city deserves it. Our fan base deserves it,” Morris said. “I really love it for our organization more than anything just to be able to get that.”
