This year’s Kudos didn’t stop at the end of baseball season for the Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr.
He won big at this year’s Players Choice Awards given out this evening. The Braves right fielder was voted player of the year, beating out such big leaguers like LA Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts and fellow Brave first baseman Matt Olson.
He also won the National League Outstanding Player award, which he beat out Betts and LA Angels Shohei Ohtani.
The Players Choice Awards are selected each September by Major League Baseball players in an in-person clubhouse vote.
