The Atlanta Falcons announced today they have signed defensive end Kenny Oginni.
Oginni, from Nigeria, has been placed on the Falcons’ international player list for the 2024 season. He will not be added to the 90-man off-season roster.
Oginni is still waiting for his first professional NFL game. He was in a football camp in 2014 that was sponsored by former Falcons defensive end Osi Umenyiora. He was also in the International Player’s Combine and International Player Pathway. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, but never made their 53-man roster.
In other Falcons roster news, offensive tackle Ryan Swoboda was released today, after being designated as a reserve/future prospect last January.
