The 18 and 4 Georgia Bulldogs baseball team defeated the visiting 13 and 5 Wofford College, 18-6.
The Dawgs’ win was powered by three homers from Corey Collins, followed by a walk-off home run by Chadwick Clayton to solidify their victory after eight innings. Georgia’s most active inning was the eighth and final inning, where 8 runs were batted in.
Zach DeVito got the win for the Dawgs and earns himself a 2-0 record. Wofford’s Alec Bouchard got the loss, with an 0-2 record.
Georgia’s next game will be against Alabama (#9) at Foley Field on Friday.
