The Braves announced they signed Adam Duvall to a one-year, $3 million contract. This will be Duvall’s third stint with the team. He previously played for the Braves in 2018-2020, and the World Series run in 2021-22. He won a Gold Glove Award in 2021.
The outfielder batted in 536 career runs and 184 home runs. He had a .232 batting average in 2023.
In other Braves news, the team announced it released outfielder Jordan Luplow “to allow him to pursue other opportunities.” He joined the team on January 10, signing a minor league contract with the Braves after a year with the Minnesota Twins.
