Falcons Sign Kentavius Street…Again

The first time the Atlanta Falcons signed defensive lineman Kentavius Street, it was to fill a temporary but crucial void left in defense by an injured Grady Jarrett.

Now he’s back, ready to put more strength in the Falcons’ defensive line.

The team announced his return to Flowery Branch today. Street was acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles mid-season last year after Jarrett’s knee injury took him out of action for the season.

This signing, a one-year deal, is the first defensive move the team has made since the free agency signing period started last Wendesday.

Street played in five games for the Falcons and got 14 tackles, a deflected pass, a recovered fumble, and a sack. He wound up on injured reserve after the time spent in Atlanta due to a pectoral injury.

Also today, the team confirmed signing wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III.
