The Atlanta Falcons announced a new signee as the team edges closer to determining their 53-man roster.
LaCoby Tucker, an offensive lineman, will replace the outgoing Matthew Gotel, the incumbent OL that is being released by the Falcons.
Tucker is a free agent from Missouri State University. He has no professional football experience, other than participating in the XFL’s Combine earlier this summer.
Gotel, meanwhile, had a very short tenure with the Falcons. He was signed last Friday. He too, had experience with the XFL, playing with the San Antonio Brahmas.
The membership change comes as the Falcons released their 2023 Depth Chart, which is expected to change as the team goes from 90 to 53 men over the course of the next few weeks.
