Hawks Bufkin Injures Thumb, Unavailable for Pelicans Game

The Atlanta Hawks reported that Kobe Bufkin had injured his left thumb Thursday night at practice.

Bufkin was at a practice session with the College Park Skyhawks when he suffered the injury. An x-ray taken of his left thumb at the Emory Sports Medicine complex today revealed a left thumb fracture. The Hawks say he will be re-evaluated in two weeks and his status will be updated.

Because of this injury, he will be unavailable for tomorrow night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Hawks just yesterday recalled Bufkin and fellow Hawk Mouhamad Gueye from the Skyhawks.
