The Atlanta Hawks got some good news about guard Trae Young.
It appears he is making steady progress on his injured left finger, which kept him out of action for the Hawks since February 23rd.
The team said in a statement that he underwent surgery on February 27th, then had a one-month follow-up evaluation on Monday.
“Young is making progress in his recovery,” the Hawks said in the statement. “As the next step of his rehabilitation, he will introduce small finger motion exercises this week.”
The Hawks say they will update his status as needed. No timetable was given for when he will be back on the court.
