This report has not been confirmed or addressed by the Falcons. There’s been rampant speculation outside the team about changes to the front office since the team is facing its eighth consecutive season with a losing record and a similar time frame without a playoff berth.
Ryan has been a frequent visitor to Flowery Branch since his retirement from the NFL. He has shown up on the field during team practices. He was QB for the Falcons for 14 years.
Ryan currently sits in the commentators’ chair for CBS’s NFL Sunday coverage.
