Scottie Scheffler will need to make some room in his closet for another green jacket.
He won his second Masters championship today in Augusta, besting Ludvig Aberg‘s 7 under par with his 11. It was the seventh time in the last 11 years of Masters competition that the winner held the top position by at least three strokes. He shot 4 under 68 to get the win, his second since 2022.

Scheffler, who is about to be a father, told CBS his wife Meredith was rooting for him at home.
“It’s a very special time for both of us.” he said. “I can’t put into words what it means to win this tournament again.”
Scheffler joins Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and others who have one two, or more green jackets in the history of the Masters. The tournament first started in 1934, with Horton Smith being the first winner.
