Atlanta gets a second chance to host a big annual baseball event.
The Atlanta Braves confirmed news that Atlanta will be the host city for the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Truist Park. ESPN reporter Jeff Passan broke the story, stating MLB commissioner Rob Manfred told him the game was coming to Atlanta. Atlanta was in the running for the event with Chicago, Baltimore, and Toronto.

Atlanta has not hosted an All-Star Game since 2000. Atlanta was scheduled to host the midsummer classic in 2021, but because of political issues, it was moved to Denver’s Coors Field.
Next year’s All-Star Game will be played in Arlington, Texas.
