Braves Defeat Guardians in 10 Innings

The Braves got the better of a three-game series with the Cleveland Guardians, taking the final of those three games 4-3.

It took ten innings for the Braves to pull off this victory. The Braves scored in the 5th inning, creeping up on a leading Guardians 2-1. In the 8th inning, the Braves would add two more, tying the game at 3 each. The Braves would secure the winning run at the bottom of the tenth, from an Austin Riley single that would bring Ronald Acuna Jr. to home plate.

A. J. Minter would get the win for the Braves, with a 5-1 record and 1.32 ERA.

The Braves remain on top in the NL East, with a league-best .731% winning rating and a 19-7 record. They start a series with the Seattle Mariners tomorrow.
