Braves Shake Up Development Squad

The Braves made more changes to its player development lineup today, mostly in pitching.

The team optioned left-handed pitcher Ray Kerr and outfielder J. P. Martinez to Triple-A Gwinnett. Right-handed pitcher Ken Giles was sent to minor league camp. Hours later, the Braves reassigned right-handed pitcher Hurston Waldrep to minor league camp.

There are now 41 players in camp, according to the Braves.
