The Atlanta Falcons announced late tonight that they have completed an interview with outgoing New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Tom Pelissero, an NFL insider from the NFL Network, reported that Belichick and Falcons owner Arthur Blank met in person recently to discuss the Falcons’ head coaching job, citing sources. He did not indicate in his X post whether this meeting was tonight or any other exact time. Pelissero added in the post that “no deal is imminent,” but there was “mutual interest” between the Falcons and Belichick, and “conversations are ongoing.” This was the first interview for Belichick since his departure from the Patriots, according to Pelissero.
