Apparently defensive tackle Eddie Goldman couldn’t stay away from Flowery Branch.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Goldman is scheduled to sign a new deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
30-year-old Goldman will be added to the Falcons defensive squad, which could use the help. He was with the team last year from March to July, after which he announced his retirement during training camp that year. He never got to play any games for the Falcons in the coach Arthur Smith era. Before then, he was with the Chicago Bears during the 2021 season, where he played 14 games.
Eddie Goldman signed with Atlanta back in 2022, retired, came back in 2023, then was done before training camp.

In his full career, he has 175 tackles, 13 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
The Falcons have not yet confirmed the Goldman signing as of this writing.
