The Atlanta Hawks announced today the signing of Trent Forrest, who will continue as guard for the team.
According to the Hawks, Forrest is signed to a two-way contract. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed due to team policy.
Forrest is no stranger to the Hawks. He played 23 games with the team last season, averaging 2.3 points, 1.6 rebounds in 12 minutes.
At Florida State University, he played in 137 games (69 starts), where he garnered 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 25.4 minutes. He then spent two years (2020-2022) with the Utah Jazz as a guard, averaging 3.0 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 11.9 minutes. He played in 113 games with the Jazz.
