Jackets Bowl Eligible After Win Over Syracuse

With their 31- 22 victory over Syracuse Orange last night, the 6-5 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have claimed a spot in the upcoming CFB bowl series.

Tech got four touchdowns on the night, with a 53-yard Dominick Blaylock run to the endzone in the second quarter. He had 68 total yards on 2 receptions. In the second quarter, Jamal Hayes ran 30 yards to score the 3rd of those four touchdowns. QB Hayes King himself ran for 19 yards in the 4th quarter. King went 16 or 20 for 138 receiving yards, 82 rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns.

The Yellow Jacket’s next game is the “good ol’ fashioned hate” annual tradition against the Georgia Bulldogs (11-0) next Saturday.
