As expected, Atlanta Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. has been voted the 2023 National League’s Most Valuable Player.
The vote was unanimous, according to reports. He becomes the eighth Brave to win a League MVP, following Freddie Freeman, Chipper Jones, Terry Pendleton, Dale Murphy (Twice), Hank Aaron, and Bob Elliot.

L.A. Dodgers Mookie Betts came in second in the voting.
In the American League, Shohei Ohtani won the league MVP unanimously. He became the first player to win this honor twice. Also, this year is the first on record that both AL and NL winners got unanimous votes.
