Todd Robinson To Join Bulldogs As Prospects Eye Athens

The Georgia Bulldogs had a good Monday today with news that a four-star prospect will be coming to the football program this fall.

Todd Robinson, a former Valdosta junior, announced he has committed to UGA, bringing another elite new team member to next year’s class of Dawgs.

“AGTG [All Glory to God]…1000% committed,” Robinson confirmed on social media. He reportedly was considering offers from Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Michigan, and Tennessee, but will now join the Bulldogs program.

Head coach Kirby Smart‘s response: “Go Dawgs” which he typically posts on social media when Georgia lands a top prospect.

Robinson is expected to be a defensive back for the Bulldogs although he has been pitched as a wide receiver or a running back. When he was at Valdosta, he completed nearly 60% of his attempts for 1,087 rushing yards, with 9 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. The versatile player also had 121 rushing attempts for 1,001 yards, 5 touchdowns, and three caught passes. Those catches resulted in 42 yards and a single touchdown.

Robinson is the latest in a series of commits that UGA has landed in recent weeks. 5-star defensive lineman Justus Terry, and 4-star DL Christian Garrett announced their intentions over the weekend to join the Dawgs. 13 prospects have committed so far this offseason, and several new prospects reportedly visited the campus last weekend.
