Newly drafted Atlanta Falcons rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has officially joined the team.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported on X/Twitter this afternoon that Penix Jr. and the team had agreed to terms on his rookie contract. He is getting a four-year deal that is worth $22.88 million, with a $13.46 million signing bonus. Pro Football Talk says the deal includes a fifth-year option.
