The increasing popularity of the Atlanta Dream and the phenomenal popularity of visiting Caitlin Clark and her new WNBA team Indiana Fever means larger digs for the anticipated upcoming matchups between the two teams in Atlanta.
The Dream announced today that the June 21 and August 26 games against the Fever are being moved to State Farm Arena. This relocation is likely to handle the huge audience to see Clark and the Fever play the Dream, who usually play at the Gateway Center at College Park.
The team says tickets will be on sale for the new venue starting May 22nd at 10 AM. Dream Elite members will have their tickets automatically transfer to State Farm Arena, according to the team’s website. Those who already have purchased tickets are out of luck, as the team says “we are unable to transfer previously purchased single game ticket seats from arena to arena.”
Those who have purchased tickets or are season ticket members will soon receive communication about the change via email or text. The team says Atlanta Dream merch will be available on-site at the Arena.
