The Atlanta Falcons announced today the signing of outside linebacker Bralen Trice to a rookie deal.
Trice was chosen as the team’s third-round #74 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The deal he is getting is estimated to be worth $5.9 million, with a cap number of $1.07 million, according to OverTheCap.com. This story was originally reported by Atlanta Falcons reporter Tori McElhaney.
Trice comes from the same college football program as newly drafted backup quarterback Michael Penix Jr., Washington. There he had 15 starts, with 49 tackles, seven sacks, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
Trice says he’s ready to help move the Falcons forward in the upcoming season.
“You won’t be regretting this pick at all, Atlanta,” said Trice on the team’s website. “Just know I’m showing up and doing everything for you guys.”
