The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team is headed to the Super Regionals after defeating Georgia Tech Sunday night.
‼️ WHAT A FREAKING PLAY ‼️
We’re headed to extra innings after Corey Collins makes a great defensive play and throws the runner out at first with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. pic.twitter.com/A8JDSRqzDs

This was the third time the Dawgs and Tech would play each other this season.
It was a competitive game that saw both teams making clutch plays against each other but also missing chances. At one point in the seventh inning, Tech was up on the Dawgs 5-3, but solo homers by Trey Phelps and Kolby Branch tied the game. Georgia got into trouble in the ninth with pitcher Chandler Marsh walking the bases loaded, but he got out of it with defensive help by Corey Collins to send the game to extra innings.
The baseball Dawgs would add three more runs to beat Tech 8-6 in the tenth inning.
The Bulldogs will play North Carolina State. It will be their first appearance in the Super Regionals since 2008.
The three-game set’s date will be announced later.
