Harbaugh is the seventh candidate the team has confirmed they have considered for the position.

Harbaugh has experience coaching both in the college and in the NFL. He spent the past nine years as Michigan’s head coach, where he led the team to a national championship earlier this month. Before that, he was head coach for the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-14. He has also coached for Stanford University, San Diego Toreros, and the then Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders as a quarterback coach.

As a player, Harbaugh played quarterback for Michigan, the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers.

This is the second NFL head coach Harbaugh has been confirmed to have, following the San Diego Chargers earlier this week.

John Harbaugh, Jim’s older brother, has been coaching the Ravens since 2008.
