Report: Falcons to Hire Zac Robinson as Offensive Coordinator

NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons are hiring Zac Robinson, an offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams, for the same position in Atlanta.

This hire will reunite Robinson with Raheem Morris, who he worked with as a Rams OC under the leadership of Rams head coach Sean McVay.  Now Morris will be his boss with the Falcons. Rapport says Robinson was Morris’ top choice for the job, and several other teams were interested in hiring him.

Update: NFL reporter Albert Breer reported that Robinson is getting a three-year contract.

This, if confirmed by the Falcons,  is the first major hire for the newly installed Falcons head coach.
