The Atlanta Hawks found a way to win another game without the help of many of its starters.
The Hawks defeated the Portland Trailblazers 120 to 106. They led by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter of the game and held the Trailblazers to no more than a four-point lead. The Hawks decisively led the entire second half of the game.
The key to that win tonight was Dejounte Murray, who scored 30 points on the night, along with 7 assists and 3 rebounds. Garrison Mathews emerged in this game with 21 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 16 points tonight.
The Hawks remain in tenth place in the Eastern Conference but are now poised to move up a position, with a 33-39 record. The Chicago Bulls are up a level at #9, with a 34-38 record.
The Hawks have another home game this Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
